Clara McLain is a classical guitarist known for her expressive tone, refined technique, and elegant stage presence. She performs regularly throughout Florida, appearing in concert halls, cultural venues, and luxury events. Recent engagments include performances with JKFolkArt in Sanford, the Sanford Cultural Guild, and Opera Orlando. 

A Dallas native, Clara began her studies through the Childbloom Guitar Program with Clare Warren at the age of seven. She later trained with acclaimed guitarist and composer David Brandon at Texas Tech University, and completed her Bachelor of Music in Classical Guitar Performance at Southern Methodist University under the guidance of Robert Guthrie. 
 
Clara has performed for hundreds of events and concert programs, from beach weddings in Galveston to corporate galas at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, and has been featured in collaborations with the Brookhaven College String Ensemble, performing Vivaldi's Guitar Concerto in D Major.

Clara has taught and performed at the Summer Guitar Conservatory, a project of Guitar Initiative, a Houston-based nonprofit. She has served on faculty for both the "Classial Minds" and Houston Classica Guitar Festival and Compeition, and in 2024, she was selected to perform as part of the prestigious HEB Prelude Series with Performing Arts Houston.

Now based in Daytona Beach, Clara continues to expand her artistic reach, performing and teaching both in-person and online, sharing her love of the classical guitar with students and audiences.
